Brand Ambassador
Everyone starts here, as a Brand Ambassador you'll be representing the Maurizio's Pizzeria brand in a positive light, helping to increase brand awareness and sales. The Brand Ambassador is meant to embody the corporate identity in appearance, demeanour, values and ethics.
As a Brand Ambassador, you'll be the first person our valued customers speak to and the last as they leave our establishment. The Maurizio's Pizzeria experience starts with you!
What to expect?
As you embody the Brand Ambassador role, your growth doesn't stop. We encourage and provide training for you to step into other roles, including Pizza Making Chef along side Chef Maurizio.
Responsibilities - Primary Roles:
• Greet every customer with dignity and respect through a professional and
courteous manner
• Deliver superior service and customer satisfaction. Our brand is based on
our patrons receiving an “exceptional experience”.
• Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and at
restaurant events
• Receive phone and in person orders, attention to detail is paramount
• Provide customers take-away and patio orders within a timely manner
• Cashier (perform debit, credit, gift card and cash transactions)
• Assist Chef with customer orders (final garnishing of pizza toppings)
• Assist Chef with baking and menu creation (taste testing)
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, food and safety regulations
• Ensure covid19 company policy and provincial guidelines are met
Responsibilities - Supporting Roles:
• Assist in restaurant’s good image and overlooking general cleanliness
and appearance of the interior and exterior of the restaurant.
• Food preparation (may occur multiple times per shift)
• Maintain an updated Food Handler's Safety Certificate
• Maintain an updated Smart Serve Certificate
• Kitchen support runner
• Provide Chef any details out of the norm (potential allergies)
• Assist with vendor deliveries and stocking ingredients on shelves / fridges
• Assist with dish, utensil & equipment cleaning
Position Type: Permanent Part Time
Starting Rate: $15.50/hr
Schedule: Up to 6 days per week
